However, 1911 .45 rounds are way expensive compare to 9mm, so costwise, I may also add Beretta 92F into my favorite list. 92F ($650) vs Hi-Power ($1000)

P.S. For home defense or security purpose always get a glock. It's the AK47 of the hand guns.

if u want to show off and really put a hole in some1 its gotta be a deagle.

but a glock g35 is good enough for me.

Deagle (.357, .44) use the same ammunition as other magnum, I don't see how you can put a hole into someone any differently. However, .50 express is a pretty much a Deagle only round (I might be wrong). Deagle is way too big and heavy to carry around. Deagles, especially the 50s, are considered as hunting guns. It is only in the movie Matrix that they used it so easily, because they are "agents". .45's stopping power is better vs 9mm, and each round is a bit cheaper than magnum round with less recoil. So I go with the .45.

However, at this time with the shortage of ammunition (I couldn't find any .45 for the past 2 month), I would also go for anything that shoots .40 S&W it's a less popular round, so it's easier to find. May be a sig.
