Guide to Recording Call of Duty 4 Gameplay with Demos:

1. Make sure the console is enabled by going to Options > Game Options > Enable Console [YES]
2. While in-game, open up the console with ` and type /record (If you want to give the demo a name then just type the name after, like this: /record urname - If you dont want to name it thats fine you will find it using a name like demo01 or demo02 and so on.) and hit enter. You should now see the text "RECORDING: 10k" in the bottom left hand corner.
3. When your done recording, open up the console again and type "/stoprecord" and hit enter.

This method uses hardly any drive space at all. I've recorded almost 30 minutes to sometimes an hour at a time and your talking about only about 20megs or so.

Playback the Recorded Demo:

1. Ok, to playback the recorded demo you need to first download this easy to use player. You can launch the demos from within your game, but this player is much easier.
GET THE COD 4 PLAYER HERE (http://gdicclan.net/filemanage/index.php?ACT=dl&id=1&symid=1&sess=0132524b714cd4530d01df355f7a15b1) :typer_happy:

2. After you download the player, just click the open demo, and then point it to "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\demos", you should see your demo in that folder just select it and it will fire up your game and play the demo. Be sure to check out the different options on the keypad too.

You won't see any performance loss in recording a demo while your playing.

Let me know if you have any problems.
