lol, yes I did overclock the CPU. I was curious to know some benchmarks for performance of 32 vs 64 bit OS etc. The temps were 29 idle and 38 loaded (after running OCCT for an hour). Didn't had a chance to check the game FPS or anything, I rolled back the vcore and other voltage/clocks to normal. I like getting drunk not living drunk * I can store different *profiles in the bios itself, overclocking again would be as easy as loading the saved profile again. The MOBO I got rocks.

Overall I was impressed with 64 bit vista performance, to start with, setting up raid was as *easy as shooting on COD4, the raid performance was about 25% better than 32 bit XP. It ran most of the software I threw at it except it crapped out on my fav visual studio 6.0, some audio codecs also failed. There are some compatibility issues with 32 bit dlls' but the compatibiilty list is way bigger than I thought. Also, it sees all 4 gigs of ram now, love it.

Personally I didn't see a lot of gain by overclocking, vista works ok with multi-core architecture anyway. I didn't check how XP behanved on the overclock. Probably would work faster.

Do you think I should stop restocking my red wine store???

stop restocking? ha.

get some opus one, and then keep it for 5 years. that will be the day to have a glass of wine.

yeah 64bit sucks a fair bit atm hey? windows 8 is looking like it will be all 64bit, so that should be interesting. have you played with windows 7 yet? its pretty sweet. ill post some screenies in here in a minnie
