Hey! Guys & gals, just thought I would try 2 set up a scrim, if any1 interested. Hope ok! Also, to create some interest for & play on BASHHOUSE Custom Maps server.

I'm on (GMT 07:00) Mountain Time
Also, let me know if that time works for OUR fellow Eastern FPS'er friends (Most likely will be SUNDAY for them). If not, we can adjust it to suit every1 involved in different time zones. Thx!!!

Clan Acronym: {GDIC} =GDIC= vs. |SF|
Game Type: TDM
Game: Call of Duty 4
Location: BASHHOUSE Custom Maps
Patch: 1.7 modded
Maps: Normal 20 or 30 min. time limit

Rules: No marty, No grenade launchers, No last stand,
Game play: Also correction, play the way you normally FPS game. My bad! Sorry all :)

Can use nades, clays, frags, flashes, smoke, etc.
Players: 6 vs. 6, 7 v. 7, or 8 vs. 8 (Can have bench-warmer changes)
Maps: best of 5 or 7 rounds (random NEW maps)
Let's also do,... One (1) map Handgun & Melee ONLY, too!

NOTE: If there is not enough interest or enuf |SF| players, maybe we could then try to scrim against the B2K clan instead?

well i dont think its fair.............the no marty shit.........if u allow everything else like claymores and shit then marty should be allowed...........My opinion of course and i also dont agree with the handgun and melee either.............sorry but thats not part of the scrim i feel .............anyhow did u post this on the sf website????? OK, CG <smilz> Yah! I'm guess then I'm ok w/ marty if every1 else doesn't mind. I just hear so much about other gamers hatin' it so much. Was tryin' 2 go4 some realistic KDR numbers. <hee hee>

lol Sorry, I didn't even know they had a website, and knew that one or two of their members always comes here, and would relay by spreading the word. My bad 4 that. I also added the handgun & melee ONLY cuz a lot of gamers like 2 do it just for the fun & added skill challenge. Some of us do that just 4 k!(ks - to make the game different, and it's FUN, too.

Futhermore, we may also have to use the BH Scrim server, in case, most are NOT able to get BHv1.7 running on their system.

A thought!!! To tell you the truth I've been really thinkin of gettin' together the guys that are personable & fun 2b around, the good regulars - to ALL try (in BH scrim) playin' the maps (skip Shipment) by ONLY moving forward (slowly positioning usin' temp. cover) try!n to take over enemy base camp. Call it operation "HOLD BASE" or "PROTECT YOUR BASE", and as soon as the 1st person spawns at enemy base camp - You've taken over the enemy base.

No run & gun tactics. Just Cover & fire. And move in. Same basic weopons rules. Can crouch, can prone (No base camp grass hiding). Every1 must slowly move forward. No revenge spawn kills, No if you spawn behind enemy lines easy free-kills, or we can play it so if you get taken out - YOU must goto SPECTATE immediately. I think it can be fun, and bring the game back down to the level that it's designed & s'possed to be played. What you guys think?

We can still have this scrim, but also try this latr, too.

HEy! STOCKERS, guess it all depends if it hapens or not. <low responses>, but if ok! We could use the time 2 get together & play what I 2nd recommended to try something different. Something basic to normal warfare strategies, work as a team, more stategic & thinking instead of all the running & crazy melee dances & easy targeting, etc. lol Same basic rules of perks allowed or not, maybe add One sniper per team, if any want. Whicheva' Whateva' lol MAybe it sounds el' stupido, lmao, but it's diffrnt, and will slow the game down more, maybe make it hilarious, too. Who knows!?!?!? But why not try. /// MrIdiot wants 2 show up, too I think. Invite Rynkle, & the rest of your good gang regulars.

SO, if empty or low in interest, hopefully ALL can then meet in BH, then goto BHv1.7 even better. P.S> If in BH, those that don't know the rules can be asked (in a fair way) to goto BH II. Cuz I think!??!?!? There's a "No allowance" for non-clan members in the BH Scrim servr. Sorry :( So, at this point, I guess we shall c via response. K! ;)

Thanks for your response MT. If there is little response I would be happy to join in and I will let my mate Stormtrooper know as well. As I play late at night I would be very happy to keep all those late night southern hemisphere players know although Ryunkle etc arent with GDIC.Can u tell me what time that would be for Melbourne Australia(Eastern Standard Time) it would be so I can let the late night crew know?
If there is alot of GDIC crew, then of course I wont be allowed to participate but will certainly enjoy spectating. U know there is always a place for a good heavy MG in the mix!!!

Hi there, Can admin forward this to MT as he was organising the scrim and will need to know. Also in MT's original post re this scrim he was keen to get together a group to play even if SF clan coulnt do the scrim. I think thats a possibility. What do others think?Cheers Pete

MMM, Have just realised that the time for the scrim or (gdic and other hnagers on like me get together) is 11am Sunday morning and I will be taking the wife and kids out to a cafe for mothers day.
