Well, I was just looking through the forums, in Recruitment section & unusually saw lots of application like this 'New Membership Application from (Name): Game alias (Name). I found it strange how so much applications were like that, don't you?

I don't find it strange at all, and I don't see why anyone would. If they're applying to join our clan, they might as well be serious about it and use that as a topic name. Besides, this form of uniformity is good, it makes things easier to look through.

lol.... I like the question. Smaka, the reason why all new application have the same subject line is because the applicant does not make a post in the forums anymore. Nowdays they fill out an automated application. Once they click on submit, the application form software automatically makes a post in the recruitment forum and generates that subject line. We did this to force all new applicants to provide all the required info. They cannot submit the application untill they answer all questions. It Saves time lost in going back and forth to get that information from them in multiple forum posts. Also, to get to that application, they have to first read the membeship guidelines.
